Domestic high-end five-axis equipment large aircraft pilot base landed in Shenyang

2025-07-01

Recently, Shenyang Aviation Industry Group Co., Ltd., Kede CNC Co., Ltd., and AVIC Shenyang Aircraft Co., Ltd. signed a cooperation agreement to jointly establish the first "Large Aircraft Structural Parts Process Verification Pilot Base" in Shenyang, which is completely based on domestic high-end five-axis Cnc Machine tools. The base will focus on the precision processing of complex structural parts of domestic large civil aircraft and large unmanned aerial vehicles such as C919/C929, and strive to break the bottleneck of the transformation of core components from "laboratory to mass production", explore new mechanisms, and promote the benign interaction between scientific and technological innovation and industrial innovation.

It is understood that relying on Kede CNC's leading advantage of closed-loop self-control of the entire industrial chain, the pilot base plans to configure dozens of high-end domestic five-axis equipment provided by the company for the manufacture of core components such as aircraft engines, domestic civil aircraft and large unmanned aerial vehicle structures. The base will build multiple specialized verification platforms to systematically tackle key processing technologies for typical aviation structural parts such as titanium alloy structural parts (material adaptability and stability under extreme working conditions), aluminum alloy frame wall parts (surface accuracy and deformation control), joint bracket parts (complex curved surface multi-axis collaborative processing), and long-axis deep hole thin-walled parts (ultra-precision processing and anti-vibration process). By connecting with the needs of the aviation industry in real time, a closed-loop mechanism of "application feedback-equipment upgrade" will be established to promote domestic machine tools to continuously break through the limits of processing efficiency and precision retention, and simultaneously reduce the technical risks and economic costs of mass production, and support the upgrade of aviation equipment from "usable" to "easy to use". The base not only provides safe, independent and controllable equipment guarantees for the increase in production capacity of domestic large aircraft, but also provides a "certification platform" for private enterprises with international competitiveness to enter the high-end aviation supply chain. At the same time, by integrating industry-university-research resources to drive process optimization and standard formulation, the Liaoning aviation industry cluster will be enabled to leap to high-end development.
